Nora Reviews: Four Mini-Reviews (April 19)

Another weekly feature I want to start is the concept of mini-reviews and I’ve called it Nora Reviews, LOL. Every week, I’ll highlight a few gay romances I’ve read and that I recommend with a super short review. No hashing out the plot but just a few lines with what I loved about the book and why you might like it, too.

Powerplay coverPower Play – Cara Dee

I’ve read and loved more books by Cara Dee, so I went in with high expectations. Luckily, they were confirmed. Power Play is a beautifully written, captivating romance with a May-December theme, a dash of perfect daddy kink, and a little extra kink on top. If you love my books, this should be a one-click for you.

Special Delivery – Heidi Cullinan

Another May-December theme and also another gay romance with a solid dose of kink. The sex in Special Delivery is hot and messy, the relationships complicated, but the romance tugs at your heart strings. Another author who’s written some really good books (Nowhere Ranch is another fave of mine).

Hot Head coverHot Head – Damon Suede

Hot Head was one of the first MM romances I read, maybe within the first ten or so. And man, did it set the bar high. It’s a friends-to-lovers trope with sexy firemen, set in NYC. The characters are rich, the writing is gorgeous, and man, this is one steamy read. Highly recommended.

The Rules coverThe Rules – Jamie Fessenden

The Rules is a wonderfully written, rich romance featuring a May-December trope (Ha! Can you tell I love this trope?) and a threesome, another fave of mine. Hans, the younger guy, is a sweetheart, and Thomas is wonderful, but it’s Boris, the Russian, who gives the story so much heart. Loved it.
