It’s time for a new episode of Nora’s mini reviews! I haven’t been able to read as much the last few weeks as I had wanted to, though I’m still about to hit 100 books read this year. That may not be a lot for some of you, but considering I’m a single mom who also writes full time, I’m proud, haha. Also, my goal was to read 150 in the whole year, so I’m doing great.
Anyway, I thought I’d share three books with you guys that I recently read and that I absolutely loved. Five stars, baby!
During the Flight – Emma Alcott
I was lucky enough to read an ARC of During the Flight, the third book in this contemporary series by Emma Alcott (which, by the way, is the contemporary pen name for Piper Scott). Gah, I loved this book. It’s a twist on an enemies to lovers, it’s got steaming hot hate sex, some laugh out moments, and then it becomes super sweet and swoony. I’ve loved all three books in this series, but this was my fave…
Charlie Sunshine – Lily Morton
A funny and warm friends-to-lovers romance with two guys who are perfect for each other, but are completely oblivious. Charlie Sunshine has that classic British humor like only Lily Morton can deliver. Left me with all the warm and fuzzies. Kudos for some chronic illness representation, done in an amazing way.
Royally Screwed – Lynn van Dorn
Another enemies to lovers, and this one is a gem as well. Two princes who are betrothed from birth discover they don’t hate each other quite as much as they think at first. Royally Screwed has Lynn van Dorn’s signature snarky humor, angry sex, yummy spankings, and all the romance.
That was it for this edition of Nora’s mini reviews. Hope you found some awesome new books to add to your TBR pile. Share your own recent five-star reads in the comments!
