Three Mini Reviews of Recent Reads

Traveling always means time to read, so I have a fresh batch of mini reviews for you guys for books that were five star reads for me. These are completely personal recommendations!

K.C. Wells – Kel’s Keeper

The build up is slow in Kel’s Keeper, a romance between a young man and his older neighbor, but when it explodes, it does so with a holy-hell-mother-of-all- hotness, haha. There’s a lovely age gap which leads into daddy kink at the end, as well as a first time gay/virgin. Yummy.

The Fall – May Archer

Yes, I know, I’m late to this particular party, but rather than bitching about ket, let’s celebrate that I showed up at all, because damn, The Fall was good. Wonderful characters, great prose, funny one liners, a lovely small town feel, and a true romance. Can’t wait to read the rest of this series.

Sir – N.R. Walker

The title of Sir may lead you to think this is a full-on BDSM book, but it’s really not. It plays a role, but the focus is on the relationships. The world N.R. Walker has created is captivating (how I wish she’d set more books there!), and the characters are, as always, rich and fully developed. A hurt boy finds healing with a new master and his first boy. Man, I loved it.

Ken’s Keeper was one of the hottest, sexy and romantic books I ever read. K.C. Wells is one of my favorite writers.

Glad to hear you loved it too. I’ve read most of her books, but this was one of her best, I think.
