If you’ve read my recent gay romance The Time of My Life, you’ve already met Denver, one of the two leading men. If not, allow me to introduce you to him.
Denver is a twenty-five-year old middle school music teacher, but his dream is to make a career out of singing. He has a phenomenal voice (think Sam Smith) and is cute as a button. But all is not as perfect as it seems with him.
Denver used to be happy and bubbly, until he got involved in a bad relationship that left him damaged and hurt. When he meets Judah, he’s ready to leave all that behind, but his past comes back to haunt him.
More than anything, Denver wants to be free. Free of fear. Free of nightmares and flashbacks. Free of behavioral patterns, acquired by necessity. Free to love, to be happy…and to be himself.
When he enters a TV singing competition (kinda like The Voice), he meets Judah, another contestant. Sparks fly, but Judah seems anything but ideal for Denver, as he’s deep, deep in the closet…But Denver’s heart knows what it wants. Will Judah help him find the freedom he so longs for?
