Sometimes, things don’t work out the way you had planned or envisioned. I had contracted a narrator for the White House Men series and he had finished the first two books. Unfortunately, they weren’t as I had these characters imagined. I’m not sure if I didn’t communicate my vision clearly enough or didn’t give enough instructions and explanations, but the end result just wasn’t what I had hoped.
It led me to the difficult decision to start over and not use these two books he narrated (yes, of course I fully paid him…he did the work, after all). I have asked Audible to give me the contracts back so I can offer them to a new narrator. And luckily, I’ve already found the perfect man for the job.
If you’ve listened to the first Irresistible Omegas books he’s done, you’ll know that John Solo did an amazing job with those. Since the White House Men series is very similar in terms of style and the number of characters, plus the suspense scenes, I figured it would make him perfect to do the White House Men series as well. I’m happy to report John was immediately on board. Since his schedule for the next few weeks was already booked, it’ll be February at the earliest that he’ll start on this. But once he does, he’ll turn them out fast and catch up in no time.
I’m bummed about the delay, but I’m feeling good about this decision. At the end of the day, I don’t want to release a product I don’t fully believe in. So, you’ll have to be patient a little while longer, but then you’ll have an amazing narrator who will do justice to this series!

I lóve John Solo and his Tantor Audio team! I have been waiting for the Irresisteble Omega’s series on audio and purchased in a heartbeat. So I will be on the lookout for the WH Men audio’s. Thank you gor the beautiful MM romance novels. 💜
As long as I know they are coming I’ll wait however long it takes. I don’t even start a series until it’s complete on audio because I enjoy it so much more when I get to follow along with narration. Thank you so much for asking care of your audiobook fans! 😊
I am glad you took this decision. A narrator is so important to do a story justice. I cannot listen to a good book if I don’t like the way it’s narrated. Some voices just grate my nerves. And a narration wil be there for years and years to come. And of course it hurts a lot financially, but I am glad you have the option to do this anyway. You write such wonderful stories and they deserve, they NEED the right narrator.
It enhances the enjoyment of the story.
Big hug for you to have taken this decision. In the end I think I will read this series too even though I do the storyis very heftig for me at times. I am just so curious, I love your characters and their love stories. I’ll just wait till when I feel I’m ready.
Its a bummer when things dont come out as you expect them but they’re your book babies and you know how they need to be. Im listening to book one of the irresistible omegas series and agree that Jon is amazing. Cant wait to here him on the white house men
