Friends is Here

Yay, it’s release day for Friends, book two in the White House Men series. Friends is (as the name suggest) a wonderful friends to lovers romance between Coulson, a straight FBI agent, and Seth, an out-and-proud Secret Service agent. As they work together on the investigation into the assassination, they become really good friends. But considering Coulson is straight, that’s all it can be…even if Seth is more than fascinated by certain equipment Coulson has. Until he catches Coulson checking him out as well. Is Coulson really straight? (Hint: he’s not…)

Make sure to read Press first, as the suspense plot in this series is a continuing one (and it’s one hell of a plot that will span all the books in this series!). But rest assured: the love story ends with a very happily ever after! Gah, those two were so perfect for each other…

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: this series is so much fun for me to write. It requires a lot more research and I’m learning tons about how the White House works, as well as several federal agencies, including the intelligence community. I’ve been lucky to find several beta readers with specific expertise in these areas, and they’ve certainly helped me make the book more authentic. I’m already chomping at the bit to write the next book in the series…

Anyway, go grab Friends. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this series. And if you’re not a fan of politics, don’t worry. This second book has no politics at all, since it mostly takes place outside the White House…and even the first book is light on the politics, I promise!
