I loved the results of last week’s poll, where I asked you what your favorite POV (point of view) was. The comments especially made clear that those who dislike, do it strongly, haha. First person present has some haters…and I can understand why because it’s not always done well.
Anyway, here are the results from the poll, which show third person is in the lead after the majority of readers who have no preference. Yay for me, since all my solo books are in third person…
This week, let’s talk about what we’re in the mood for. This virus has us all worried and on edge. has that affected your reading preferences? What are you in the mood for right now? If it has changed, pick the category you prefer now. If it’s the same as before, pick the last one. I;m just curious if and how this has affected your preferences…

Mine is fluffiest because I’m a key worker so still working and it’s never been so stressful i am currently hitting a wall about 9pm and asleep by 10 which is way early for me so I haven’t the mental capacity to cope with angst (wow that turned into an essay 😂)
Thank you! If you think you’re all alone, you’re not. We’re all behind you, sending our prayers.
Thank you for your hard work. I can imagine you must be exhausted. Sending you all my love.
I can’t tolerate even the slightest angst so mine is fluffiest of fluff or what I like to call “puppies, rainbows, & kittens.”
Whatever makes you happy. All the unicorns and fluffy rainbows for you!
Hot is hot. Keep our minds on sex/love and away from obsessing over the virus. At the very least, you are proving fantasy ideas, insights and activities:))
Glad to be of service 🙂
I have no idea why, but the more stress I am under and the higher my anxiety is, the more angst I like!
I feel the same way. I just finished two very angsty books, and it only makes me more relaxed, haha.
I like a story with a bit of bite to it. Owing to Covid and social distancing I am reading more and more. Keep safe everyone. 😘
I’m reading more as well. I need the escape.
I love the English language. Check out new word being used. It has even made its way into the Urban Dictionary😆

I saw that! That’s just brilliant.
I’m still working, although they have closed the library doors at least, and going to grad school, and my SO is also working, but way more hours — so the stress is just so much. All the fluff for me in the rare breaks I do get to unwind. My heart can’t take any more stress. Or my head really, the headaches from stress are not fun.
I can imagine you need fluffy books to take your mind off things. Sending you all the good vibes.
I am the 24/7 caretaker of my 24 year old autistic daughter. I’ve been under stress for years. I just put Covid-19 on the pile with the rest of it.
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at this. You rock, but this only adds to your stress levels, so try and take care of yourself.
I have been living with mental health challenges for over 40 years. Life can be an emotional roller coaster and I can be a victim or a survivor. For me, the ride is so much better when I am a survivor. On my roller coaster, I can escape to alternate realities by when I read romance books.🥰 It is the balance between light (attraction/love) and dark (fear/anxiety/apathy) emotions that draw me into the story.
