Weekly Poll 17 January

It’s time for another weekly poll! Last week, I asked what subgenre within MM romance you guys liked most. The results confirmed what we saw the week before as well: you guys are a bunch of kinky fuckers, haha. Well, that makes sense if you love my books, I guess, since there’s usually some kink in there somewhere.

The majority chose contemporary romance with kink (23%), followed at a distance by mpreg (16%). Contemporary without kink scored only 16%, and then there were some smaller favorites further down. Hmm, I guess I’ll have to write more kink, right? LOL.

This week’s poll is about your all-time favorite MM romance series. You can pick multiple answers (I wouldn’t be as cruel as to limit you to one…) and add your own as “other”. I’ve added a few of my favorites and of course my own series because I’m vain enough for that, haha, but add your own favorites. I’m really curious about this one!

I’ve only been reading M/M a little over a year, so my answers might have been different had I read more of the series of your list, but it at least confirms I’ve made some pretty good reading choices along the way!

Sometimes I envy people who are just discovering MM because they still have so many amazing books to discover for the first time. You can’t go wrong with any of the series mentioned, honestly.

I’ve read almost all of these and loved pretty much all of them. I wanted to vote for at least five of them as my favorite! I highly recommend readers add the ones they’ve missed to their TBR now 🙂

There are SO many books…and so little time to read them, haha. It’s the eternal problem of being a book lover!

If you have not read the Nothing Special Series by A. E. Via, you should really check it out. I love all of the books in the series.

I’m about midway in that series, actually!

I could have added a lot more, but I guess you can’t list all of them. One thing your surveys have shown is that I’m not like the majority (except for this one of course – who doesn’t like Lucy and Sloane!) but that’s okay. I’m happy being an outlier.

You know, there are a lot of popular and well-loved books that I couldn’t get into…and that’s fine. Everyone is different and what works for one person drives another nuts. Isn’t it amazing how that works? I have no issue with that. Let people love what they love, right?

I have many favorites for different reasons. I could go with any or all on this list, then add Sadie Sins and N.J. Lysk and even Marie Sexton. Spin the wheel…

I love Marie Sexton’s book. I discovered her relatively recently but she’s good.
