Weekly Gay Romance Deals and New Releases (December 28)

Welcome to this week’s new releases, 99c deals, and freebies in gay romance! This is our last week of highlighting new MM holiday/Christmas-themed romances, and we still have a few!

Of course, we also have our regular new releases, 99c deals, and freebies, and it’s an EPIC list of 99c deals this week. All deals are valid at the time of posting in the US and most of the time the UK, but they may not be valid later or in all Amazon stores. Please check the price before buying! We can’t always see when the buy price will change, so it may go up within hours of this post, unfortunately.

This is not a paid list or ads, but simply deals I’ve found and books I’m excited about reading, so all personal recommendations from me. If you have a book you’d like to see listed, you can submit it, but that’s not a guarantee I’ll list it.

CHRISTMAS RELEASES

Healing Hearts – K. Evan Coles

Zac Alvarez never expected to start his life over at forty-five, but his recent divorce means doing just that. He meets Aiden Marinelli, a bold young chef who is taking the city’s food scene in new directions. Aiden is only thirty, but both the chef and his food prove impossible to resist. But they have some issues to overcome before they find their happy ending in Healing Hearts.

What Works For Us – Colette Davison

When sweet barista, Sam, agrees to be a ‘slave’ in a Christmas charity auction, he’s thrilled to be bought by the man he’s had a crush on for the last three months. Wearing a sexy costume allows him to be a much flirtier version of himself, but can a naughty elf tempt Theodore into bed What Works For Us is a Christmas-ish romance with an age-gap relationship, lacy underwear, role-play, Daddy kink, a smidge of hurt/comfort, and a guaranteed happy ending. Age gap and daddy kink? Sold.

Naughty AF – Misha Horne

Step brothers home together for Christmas discover they share the same Naughty AF kinks. Look, it’s not like I even need to read the blurb to one-click a new Misha Horne book, since she’s the Queen of Spanking and I’m down for any book with spanking. But add stepbrothers and Christmas, and I read this in one setting. Yummy.

Witching You a Merry Christmas – Colbie Dunbar

The weeks leading up to Christmas are magical—except when your magic is a little wonky! Witching You a Merry Christmas sounds awesome. A warlock who accidentally scrambles eggs? Haha, that alone was enough to make me want to read this sweet, Christmassy mpreg romance.

My Christmas Spirit – K.C. Wells

A naked ghost who shows up for Christmas…then slaps another guy in a coffee shop on the head with his dick. I’m SO gonna read this one, haha.
My Christmas Spirit

NEW RELEASES

Unexpected – K.M. Neuhold

Nora’s Recommendation: I had the privilege of beta reading Unexpected, and it’s a classic K.M. Neuhold story with three sexy men, a wonderful poly relationship, a little panties-kink, and all the feels.

Kyle needed a place to stay, he never thought it would turn into so much more.

So, your gorgeous boss, Maverick, and his yummy husband, Ari, are letting you stay with them while you get back on your feet? Here are a few simple tips:

Don’t call his husband Daddy. I know it’ll be difficult, but seriously, don’t.

Don’t leave a pair of red, lacy panties in their bed.

If you hear interesting noises from their bedroom in the middle of the night, don’t peek in. Don’t.

And most importantly, don’t fall in love.

Follow these tips and everything should go as expected.

**Unexpected is the third book in the Inked series, which is a spin-off of the Heathens Ink series, but it CAN be read as a stand-alone. Unexpected is a super sweet, steamy MMM story with low angst and very light Daddy kink.

The Dichotomy of Angels – N.R. Walker

Nora’s Recommendation: Two angels falling in love? Yes, please. besides, I haven’t read an N.R. Walker book yet that I didn’t love.

Nathaniel and Chasan are no ordinary angels.

Destiny chose them to be twin flames, fated mates. But Nathaniel has avoided Chasan for nearly a thousand years.

When sent to Earth on a mission to live and work together, Nathaniel comes face-to-face with his destiny. Short-tempered, petulant, and grumpy, he hates the idea of being fated to anyone and has chosen an existence of isolation rather than spending time with the calm, kind, and serene Chasan. But now he has no choice.

One is fire, the other is air; a true Dichotomy of Angels.  Together they will be ignited, or they will be extinguished. This assignment will seal their fate either way.

* * *

85,000 words. A sometimes-funny, sometimes-serious story about love, destiny, and other heavenly disasters.

Finding Ripley – Jacki James

A cowboy Daddy and a big city boy.

Ripley Ellis never intended to return to Bluebird Ranch. The day his father kicked him out for being gay was the day he shook the dust off his cowboy boots and moved to the city. But thanks to his homophobic father, the only way he can claim his inheritance is to return. He has to stay for one year, but that doesn’t mean he has to like it.

The life of a rancher isn’t an easy one. Reed Warner knows that. He also knows that there is no other life for him. It’s all he’s ever wanted. Now that he’s retired from the rodeo, he’s ready to make his dreams come true. There’s only one problem—Ripley. The sassy city boy just inherited the ranch Reed is planning to buy.

If they can put aside their differences and work together, they may both find exactly what they’re looking for in Finding Ripley.

Pregnant with Their Babes- Kelex

Recommendation: Mermen mpreg with a little kink? Sign me up!

When it becomes apparent that Prince Llyr of Aegeaus cannot stop the political wedding between himself and a tyrant-to-be, he races for the one place he thinks his father won’t easily find him—the surface. After ingesting a spell to give him human legs for seven days, he quickly has to figure out a way to make those seven transform into an eternity.

After nearly drowning in his new human form, he’s saved by a handsome captain and the darkly dangerous commander of a passing ship. The two close friends have sailed the high seas for over twenty years and had many adventures together. The escapade they enjoy most is sharing a third in their bed.

Unable to deny his curiosity—Llyr has to find out how it feels to have sex without a tail—he sets off to seduce the gorgeous pair. But when it becomes apparent his mere presence pushes the lovers apart, he can’t risk destroying the love they have for one another just to appease his own needs.

Yet he can’t walk away from the men he’s mystically drawn to, either.

Once Llyr’s father finally discovers his whereabouts and exposes the deadly consequences of his dalliances—will he choose to face the danger or run back home under the sea?

****
Pregnant With Their Babes is a 77,000+ word ménage merman omegaverse (merverse) novel with a little angst, a light sprinkling of BDSM, MPREG, and merbabies.

99C DEALS

Little Red – Queenie Wise

Peter “Penis” Caldwell (nickname bestowed courtesy of popular jock, Jackson Davis) didn’t necessarily have a lot of things going for him.

1. See “Penis”.

2. He attended high school in a small town that was as bigoted as it was boring. (Having the audacity to stand out was considered a major character flaw.)

3. He was maybe, sort of, a little bit (a lot) gay.

Not that anyone knew that last one.

None of that meant, however, that Peter was prepared for the consequences when he is bitten by a giant wolf during a reckless night of teenage adventure.

Consequences that smack him right in the face when he is simultaneously saved and snatched by a (hugely-muscled, obscenely handsome)… mentally-imbalanced man who’s convinced that he’s a long-distance relation of Jacob Black. That’s right: werewolf.

Mr. Big and Bad claims Peter is one, too, now that he’s bitten him.

The only thing worse than being kidnapped by a crazy person? A crazy person who’s right.

Forced to adjust to pack life in a hidden society, Peter’s not sure what he longs to do more: throttle the man who’s bitten him and ruined his life so conclusively, or throw himself on Mr. Big and Bad’s ridiculously firm… lap.

Yeah, lap.

Please note the trigger warnings in the front matter.

Little Red is the second book in the Big Bad Wolves series, and the sequel to Little Red – Big Bad – is now available!

The last thing either of them are looking for is a relationship, but a break-up, a blizzard, and a week alone together make Mitchell and Levi realize that fate might have other plans. Contents:

1. Rescue My Heart

Arthur Jessup is running out of steam. In his final year as an undergraduate, he’s been working himself ragged keeping up with the demands of work and school and the serious business of What Comes After Graduation.

Dmitri O’Hannahan has never really had anyone to depend on. Up until a few months ago, he’s been the primary caretaker for his family, allowing his mother to spend her final months of life in comfort. Dmitri isn’t sure how to relate to humans – the Malinois dogs he raises are much easier to understand and relate to. He’s got trust issues a mile wide, and it doesn’t help that some young, starry eyed kid has decided to make him persona non grata at his only real social outlet – the Locust Hill Shelter.

When Arthur comes into enough money to allow him to take a step back from his busy schedule, he decides to fill the void by volunteering at his local animal shelter. But finding out that the brooding, if deliciously handsome, Dmitri breeds and sells dogs rather than just adopting them leaves Arthur with a bad taste in his mouth that not even Dmitri’s illicit kisses can transform.

2. Fake Groom

Lane is bored with his life. It’s a good life, and comfortable, but he misses the excitement and spice of his first song royalties check and the thrill of opening his rental business. He wants to do something spectacular, something to change up the same old routine – and if he’s honest, he wants someone to do it with.

Roman is a rolling stone. Since he left home at eighteen he’s been on the move with the SEALs, and since he’s left the service, he’s been across the country, bunking with friends and trying to figure out what the heck he wants out of life. He could go back home… but he’s never quite fit in amongst his high rolling family’s glitz and glam. He wants something else – something more real.

When Roman rolls into town to visit his friend Brad, he doesn’t expect to stay for more than a few weeks. But the guy next door is cute – even if Roman has never properly dated a man before. He’s just contemplating asking Lane out when he receives word that his grandfather has passed – leaving behind a tidy fortune and the stipulation that Roman must be married before receiving any of it.

Lane wants adventure. Roman wants stability. Will a marriage of convenience lead both of them to something even more powerful – love?

3. Sweet Treats

Gabriel has never wanted to belong to anyone before. Gregarious and charming, he’s never lacked for companionship, but he’s also never found anyone that he’s willing to invest himself in. He doesn’t anticipate that will change anytime soon as he begins his first year as a preschool teacher at a prestigious, private elementary school.

Yates had a plan for life – marry a suitable woman, have several beautiful children to dote upon, and be recognized as a formidable player in the politics of corporate America. He’s got the company. He’s got a beautiful daughter. But his marriage is over, and he’s not looking for another one anytime soon.

When Gabriel and Yates meet at a cooking class, neither of them is prepared to go farther than some harmless flirting and maybe a passionate night or two. But when one date turns into more, both men feel like they’re getting in over their heads – and that’s before Gabriel realizes he’s dating his student’s father.

4. Hate/Love

Hot shot reconstructive surgeon Dylan Mitchell has everything going for him – a prestigious career, fantastically good looks, the kind of car his teenage self would have killed for, and recently paid off student loans. Everything should be perfect – but there’s a yawning emptiness in him, a loneliness that he can’t quench – and wouldn’t dare to try…

Over the Hill – Elle Keaton

A shy bachelor, a reformed play boy, a road trip. A snow storm, a secluded cabin; will both men get what’s on their Christmas list this year?

Owen Addison has no trouble meeting men, but he’s never fallen in love. Maybe there’s something wrong with him?

It’s not that Edmund Lake hasn’t wanted to lose his virginity. He has. He sooo has.

Until the night that he is named as the living representative of the god Teska’atl, to be sacrificed at the end of the year. The past haunts him, but if he can find the courage to trust them with his heart, and his secrets, he can have the kind of love he’s always needed…from the two people he’s always craved.

Warning: Fearless has male/male/male nookie. (Gay for you, Pan for you, Bi for you, Try for you.) That’s right, three sexy guys, nerdy references, vampire love triangle obsessions and a game of X-rated trivia that everybody wins. I won’t bother listing all the things they do to each other. If you’ve read the warning to this point and you know the Finn Factor series at all? You can probably guess. *some sensitive elements-past trauma*

FREEBIES

Working out the Kinks – Misha Horne

Recommendation: Misha Horne is the absolute queen of spanking, and this is one of my favorite books of her. Two stepbrothers, spanking, and a whole lotta angst. Yummy.

Mistakes aren’t supposed to feel this good…

I learned early on that pretty much everything in life is a scam, and love’s at the top of the list. Easy to fake, maximum payout, and people just never stop falling for it. Watching my mom break hearts and empty bank accounts as we bounced from house to house taught me just how dangerous feelings could be. That’s a whole lot of hassle I don’t need.

These days, I stick to three basic rules. I don’t take something just because I want it. I don’t ask for help, even if I need it. And I never look twice at a guy who has a bigger bank account than I do. I know where those things can get you, and it’s not anywhere I need to go. I’m perfectly happy being a dive bar rock star who can barely pay his rent, chasing the dream until my time or my sanity runs out. At least, I thought I was.

Until Brett showed up.

Another thing I don’t do is think about the past. All the people I can never look in the eye again. Who know just how ugly I really am deep down. The last person I need to get mixed up with is someone on that list. The last person I need to go breaking all my rules for is the cocky, spoiled brat who used to sleep in the room across the hall.

No matter how gorgeous he is now.
No matter how filthy he is in bed.
No matter how good it feels when he says all he wants in the world is me.

Working Out the Kinks

My Brother’s Keeper Trilogy – Adrienne Wilder

Comment: Make sure to read the blurbs of these books, because this is not your standard variety gay romance. These books are dark and messed up, so be warned.

From Book 1: This is book one of three. All books are full-length novels and must be read in order. All books are available now.

The My Brother’s Keeper Trilogy

The town of Gilford has a Big and Terrible secret hidden in the ground.
Infecting those it touches.
Exploiting their darkness.
Consuming their souls.
It’s hungry. It’s vile. It’s evil.
And it wants out.

A Tale of Two Horns – Hannah Walker

Being one of the rarest shifters that exist, Charlie tends to hide his unicorn from the world, choosing to surround himself with what he loves — books. Owning one of the best bookstores in the area, he dedicates his life to his passion, and to spending time with family and friends.

Knox Vaughn is a hero, a larger than life Siberian tiger shifter who has earned the respect of everyone in the paranormal world. Few know the real man, the one who fights for his family and friends and hides who he really is inside.

When a simple mistake thrusts Knox into Charlie’s bookstore, he finds himself smitten with the young unicorn. Two lives couldn’t be more different on the outside, but Knox has a secret, one he’s never shared with anyone other than his family. One that proves he’s not so different from Charlie after all.

Unable to ignore the chemistry between them, Charlie and Knox grow closer, but as they do, trouble descends on the small paranormal community, threatening to keep them apart. The two must come together, trusting in what they feel so they can overcome the threats to their union.

When secrets are revealed and truths admitted, bonds form that won’t ever be broken. Still, when it comes to tigers and unicorns, it might not be enough to save them, in A Tale of Two Horns.

They do. Countdown deals are only available in the US and the UK, so if an author wants to do a sale anywhere else, it has to be done manually. That’s a lot of work, since we’d have to do that individually for each store and then individually change the prices back after the sale.
