Weekly Gay Romance Deals and New Releases (October 26)

Welcome to this week’s exciting new releases, 99c deals, and freebies in gay romance! We’re back after skipping a week last week because I was at GRL (GayRom Lit Retreat). It’s another solid list this week with exciting new releases and re-releases, a nice collection of 99c deals, and a few freebies.

All deals are valid as at the time of posting in the US and most of the time the UK, but they may not be valid later or in all Amazon stores. Please check the price before buying! We can’t always see when the buy price will change, so it may go up within hours of this post, unfortunately.

This is not a paid list or ads, but simply deals I’ve found and books I’m excited about reading, so all personal recommendations from me. If you have a book you’d like to see listed, you can submit it, but that’s not a guarantee I’ll list it.

NEW RELEASES

Worship – Ella James

An epic, forbidden MM romance from USA Today Bestselling Author Ella James…

You think you know me.
That’s the way I want it.

Making you feel like we know each other–like we could go grab a beer sometime–is part of my job. Maybe the most vital part. It doesn’t hurt that I’m easy on the eyes, single at 35, and born richer than sin. My aesthetic matters much more than it should, but all the better for my worthy cause.

And it’s a worthy cause.
I’ve made an art out of making you feel good, and my influence makes you want to be good. Good like me. You think you know me, but you don’t.

Everyone has secrets. Mine could cost me everything. So I’m a fortress. No one’s ever even gotten close.

Until tonight.

See that man, the tall guy dripping on the bow of my yacht? The one I just pulled from the ocean?

He’s the one who’s going to cost me everything. In Worship.

Hell & High Water – Charlie Cochet

Recommendation: Technically, Hell & High Water is not a new release but a re-release, but if you haven’t read the THIRDS series yet, you’re in for a treat. Shifters, sexy alpha men, plenty of action and suspense, humor, and all the feels. Plus, in KU now, so yay!

Action. Comedy. Romance. And that one weird guy.

When homicide detective Dexter J. Daley’s testimony helps send his partner away for murder, the consequences – and the media frenzy – aren’t far behind. He soon finds himself sans boyfriend, sans friends, and, after an unpleasant encounter in a parking garage after the trial, he’s lucky he doesn’t find himself sans teeth. Dex fears he’ll get transferred from the Human Police Force’s Sixth Precinct, or worse, get dismissed. Instead, his adoptive father – a sergeant at the Therian-Human Intelligence Recon Defense Squadron otherwise known as the THIRDS – pulls a few strings, and Dex gets recruited as a Defense Agent.

Dex is determined to get his life back on track and eager to get started in his new job. But his first meeting with Team Leader Sloane Brodie, who also happens to be his new jaguar Therian partner, turns disastrous. When the team is called to investigate the murders of three HumaniTherian activists, it soon becomes clear to Dex that getting his partner and the rest of the tightknit team to accept him will be a lot harder than catching the killer – and every bit as dangerous in Hell & High Water.

Austin – Shaw Montgomery

Sometimes you have to leap before you look.

At least, that’s Austin’s philosophy on life. He knows better than anyone that looks are sometimes deceiving, but when he thinks he meets Mr. Right—who appears to also be Mr. Tall, Sexy, and Dominant—he’s ready to jump in headfirst. It isn’t every day that an alpha Dom falls from the sky and drops right into his lap, and he’s not going to question fate.

Looking twice at every situation has always been Silas’s motto, but he’s ready to make an exception for the firecracker omega who holds nothing back. Austin is outrageous, has no filter, and is utterly devoted to his friends. The fact that he’s also a submissive who knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to go after it makes him almost perfect. But when perfection comes with millions of dollars and paparazzi, maybe they could both use some caution.

Sometimes it’s just chemistry, but sometimes when the right person comes into your life it just might be fate. Figuring out the difference isn’t always easy, but it’s worth the effort if it brings you everything you always dreamed of.

Austin Contains: M/m sexual content, BDSM elements, non-shifter alpha/omega dynamics, edging, and spanking.

Author’s note: While future stories in this universe might contain mpreg, most books will not. Also, there is a free prequel to the series. You can find the link on the author’s site.

Wrecked – Stella Starling

Recommendation: This, too, is a rerelease, and it was first published under a different author name. This is such an awesome series so don’t miss it.

“The best gifts are the ones you didn’t even know you needed.”

“Everyone in the wedding party gets laid. It’s tradition.”

Roger “Beck” Beckworth grew up with a strict, homophobic father who was always changing the rules just to keep Beck on his toes, but now he’s made a well-ordered, predictable life for himself that he’s perfectly happy with.
Perfectly.
When he finds himself waiting to take his place as a groomsman at a friend’s wedding, the last thing he expects is that the final attendant, the one who’s running late—a sure sign that the two of them will be like oil and water—will turn out to be the first man he ever loved.

“Surprises are some of my favorite things.”

Liam Hart lives on his boat, free to go wherever the wind blows him. He’s almost allergic to the idea of being tied down to any one place… or any one person. That had been different, once, but loving Roger Beckworth was half a lifetime ago, and the pain of losing him taught Liam a valuable lesson about the risk of trying to hold onto something after its time has passed.
Finding him again might just teach Liam something else altogether, though.

“You have to believe. Love will never let you down.”

When fate brings them together again, their differences seem destined to pull them apart… unless Beck can finally learn to let go, and Liam figures out that love really is worth holding onto, no matter what the cost.

Wrecked is a gay romance novel of approximately 53,000 words containing someone worth staying for, someone worth leaving for, magical fish, and a once-in-a-lifetime love that comes around twice, because some hearts are simply meant to be together. It can be read as a standalone romance—no cliffhangers and a sweet HEA—but is also the fifth book in The Delicious Series, previously published under one of the author’s many other pseudonyms (with a few tweaks and updates for this Second Edition!).

99c DEALS

Blink – Viva Gold

BLINK is about a young optometrist, Arran Adatto, who’s patient Ezra Stern requires a little more than the usual care and attention.
Ezra may seem the Daddy type but hates labels…and Arran is way, way more than he appears to be!

Ezra is hard on the outside but harbours a deep loneliness and longs for love.

Arran lives a life full of lies due to his traditionally religious family.
Can he find the strength to be his true self for Ezra?
And who the hell is Iris Green?

This is a love story about two very different men. Ezra is a successful businessman living his life out and proud. Approaching the grand old age of 40, he begins to look at his life and realises he’s terribly lonely, and that his regular one night stands are not fulfilling him enough anymore. When he finds Arran, he thinks the young man is everything he never knew he wanted or needed. Yet Arran has a lot of baggage, not least of all is that he is in the closet about his homosexuality.
This book is at times loving and romantic while shockingly thrilling. There is angst for and from both characters, proving that sometimes, love just isn’t always enough and that there are consequences to everything we do…

Oh yeah – and just who is Iris Green, already?

Where Nerves End – L.A. Witt

Welcome to Tucker Springs, Colorado. Population, 70-something-thousand. Home to beautiful mountain views, two respected universities, and a ridiculously high cost of living.

Jason Davis can handle a breakup. And an overwhelming mortgage. And a struggling business. And the excruciating pain that keeps him up at night thanks to a shoulder injury. But handling all of it at once? No, not so much. When his shoulder finally pushes him to a breaking point, he takes a friend’s advice and gives acupuncture a try.

Acupuncturist Michael Whitman is a single dad struggling to make ends meet. When a mutual friend refers Jason as a patient, and Jason suggests a roommate arrangement to alleviate their respective financial strains, Michael jumps at the opportunity.

Living together should be easy, and it would be if not for Jason’s undeniable attraction to his new roommate. The temptation to act on those feelings is strong, but Michael is straight.

Or at least, that’s what their mutual friend claims…

Where Nerves End was previously published and is book #1 in the Tucker Springs series, and can be read as a standalone.

Broken Crown – Ashe Moon

The kingdom has fallen. Military leaders Phoenix and Griffin Greer have taken the Omega Prince Lars Lyandri as their prisoner. But the Alpha brothers desire more than simple pleasure from their unwilling captive. They have a secret mission, and in order to succeed they must claim something only a royal Omega like Lars can provide them.

An heir.

Deep in heat, he is unable to resist the mating bond Phoenix and Griffin force upon him. Can he find a way to escape from the grip of the two ruthless Alphas? Or will he succumb to his own body’s primal desires?

Broken Crown is an exciting Dark M/M/M Romance with through-the-roof levels of heat and scenes you’ll feel guilty you enjoyed so much. Be aware: There is violence and other themes that may not be enjoyable for some readers, but you can still expect satisfying character arcs and a gratifying HEA ending.

Longmead Woods Trilogy – Colbie Dunbar

Voices of the ancients whisper through the ages as Frederick, Duke of Longmead and Lord Nathaniel ‘Nate’ Elgin peel back the layers of darkness that envelope them and keep them apart.

Frederick, an alpha and a childhood friend of the king, spends his days on his estate but has never considered or needed a mate. But the nights are lonely so he heads to Hammond Manor to wallow in the company of omegas.

The omega, Nate, is an artist but subsidizes his work by swindling squires – though his evenings involve darker pursuits.

From their first meeting, the alpha and omega’s lives are upended by lust, grief, dread and euphoria that hover and swirl around them.

And the ever-present woods, like Frederick and Nate’s ancestors, stand proud and yet keep their secrets as the pair battle primeval urges, warnings and a prophesy as well as royals and nobles who try to destroy them and the kingdom.

Longmead Woods Trilogy contains:
The Rogue’s Secret
The Rogue’s Baby
The Rogue’s Dilemma

FREEBIES

Below the Belt – E.M. Lindsey

Recommendation: I really love this author’s work, though I haven’t read this series yet. The first book is free, and book 2 and 3 are 99c.

Noah Avidan has not led a charmed life. His first serious relationship crashed and burned with his boyfriend in the bed of their dog-walker. After achieving his dream job working as a Classics Professor at the University, his life is derailed by a car accident, leaving him blind in one eye and battling to lecture through a stammer. Whatever his luck, though, Noah is bound and determined to pick up the pieces and find his own way to happiness.

The day Noah walks into Baum’s Boxing is the day everything changes. Adrian Flores, an ex-Marine boxer with his own story to tell and his own struggles to overcome, is immediately taken with the timid man taking his first kickboxing class. It seems like a fairy tale waiting to happen, until the day it doesn’t. A miscommunication between both men leaves them vulnerable for one cruel, obsessed man to take matters into his own hands. Will their relationship survive blackmail, violent attacks, and a promise to destroy their livelihoods? Or will the two be forced to part ways and accept that fate is just not on their side?

Below the Belt is the first in the series, Baum’s Boxing. Each book will contain an HEA with no cliffhangers.

Boy Toys – A.E. Wasp

Boy Toys is a heart-warming Christmas story featuring the inappropriate use of a Santa suit, sibling bribery, and ninety separate instances of the f-word.

10 siblings, 7 fish courses, 6 hockey players, 5 cousins, 4 calling birds, 3 spouses, 2 houses & 1 night that changes everything.
Betrayed by first his body and then his girlfriend, Liam O’Reilly, assistant coach of the Seattle Thunder, is not having a very merry Christmas. So when a smoking hot hockey player in a Santa suit offers himself up like a present begging to be opened? Well, it’s a freaking Christmas miracle.

Rented Heart – Garrett Leigh

Ex-surfer-turned-businessman Liam Mallaney moved back to Holkham, Norfolk, to mourn the loss of his husband. Grief and loneliness keep him a solitary figure, and he likes it that way. There’s no room in his broken heart for anything else.

Rentboy Zac Payne left London and most of his demons behind, but he still only knows one way to make a living. When he spots Liam in a club one night, it seems he’s found his mark. But Liam proves nicer—and their connection far deeper—than he’d bargained for.

Their arrangement quickly becomes too complicated for Zac, who has other things on his mind: namely his BFF and wayward flatmate, Jamie. Zac owes Jamie the world, and even as Jamie’s drug addiction destroys all they have, Zac won’t leave him behind.

Besides, Liam knows nothing of Zac’s home life, too caught up in his own head to think much beyond the crazy heat he and Zac share. But when trouble comes to Zac’s door, putting his life in danger, Liam must set his grief and anger aside to pick up the pieces of Zac’s shattered heart and his own in Rented Heart.

Damned If You Do – Marie Sexton

The path to temptation is paved with a hellish amount of paperwork.

Soul acquisition is a drag, but if Abaddon doesn’t catch up on his quota, he could be demoted to scooping poop for the Hounds of Hell. With a deadline hanging over him, he heads for the Bible Belt, looking for the perfect combination of sweetness and challenge.

Seth is a blind musician, part of a traveling tent revival. He’s cute, mystically talented, and quotes the Bible at every turn. His soul is pure enough to fill Abaddon’s quota for months to come, and Abaddon is determined to claim it.

The problem? There’s the revival foreman who watches Abaddon’s every move. Then there’s the mystery of Seth’s many unusual talents. Lastly, there’s Abaddon himself. He’s beginning to like Seth a bit too much. Maybe Seth deserves something better than damnation.

But Hell’s agenda isn’t negotiable, and time is running out. If Abaddon doesn’t play his cards right, he could condemn both of them to the worst fate of all—an eternity apart.

Warning: Contains a Bible-quoting twink and an irreverent devil. Also, snakes. Lots and lots of snakes.

Damned If You Do was previously published by Samhain. It has been re-edited, but the content is unchanged.

EM Lindsey’s Baum’s Boxing series is good for those who like a bit of mystery/suspense in their romance. I also really liked the Irons and Works series (which she just finished — and has announced a spin-off series for). She really knows how to make three-dimensional, richly-developed characters.
