Welcome to this week’s hot new releases, 99c deals, and freebies in gay romance! It’s a good list this week with some amazing deals…so get ready to grow those TBR lists!
I have recommendations for some books that I’ve read or are enthusiastic about, and others that are lesser or unknown to me, we’ll list with just the blurb. Hope this makes everyone happy!
All deals are valid today, Saturday, August 10, in the US and most of the time the UK, but they may not be valid tomorrow or in all Amazon stores. Please check the price before buying!
This is not a paid list or ads, but simply deals I’ve found and books I’m excited about reading, so all personal recommendations from me. If you have a book you’d like to see listed, you can submit it, but that’s not a guarantee I’ll list it.
NEW RELEASES
Gentle Hand – Nora Phoenix
Nora’s Recommendation: Of course I recommend my own book, haha. That being said, if you’ve never read a Daddy-little book, this is a perfect intrduction as it’s very mild and slow-building. Raf and Daddy Brendan are super sweet and sexy together!
Raf never knew he needed a Daddy until he meets Daddy Brendan…
Adulting is hard for Raf. After a less than ideal youth, he’d hoped to find where he belongs. But despite trying several things in the club his best friend frequents, nothing clicks for him.
Until he meets Daddy Brendan, the perfect bear of a man with the gentle voice, the soft cuddles, and an appendage Raf is rather fascinated by.
Daddy Brendan wants to take care of Raf in every way, and Raf quickly discovered he loves being Daddy Brendan’s baby boy. He’s finally found where he belongs. If only he could forget about his past and be truly happy…
Gentle Hand is a daddy kink MM romance with age play and ABDL. Please note trigger warnings for mild homophobia, parental mistreatment, and depression. It’s the second book in the Perfect Hands series, but can be read as a stand-alone.
Heel – K.M. Neuhold
Nora’s Recommendation: I read an ARC of Heel and it’s so sweet and fulfilling. If you’re new to puppy play, this is the best intro ever, and if you already love it, this second chance combined with friends to lovers romance will give you all the feels.
“I’ve never thought of calling a man Daddy before, but I can’t think of a word that fits Vale better. He’s my Daddy, and I’m his pup.”
Broken and bruised, there’s nothing I won’t do to protect Adrian. I picked him up and made him whole before, and I’ll do it again. Adrian is a sweet pup with a smile full of sunshine and a heart made for love. A sweet pup needs a gentle hand, and that’s exactly what I intend to give him.
There’s nothing quite like slipping an expensive pair of high heels onto Adrian’s feet and watching him light up. If he wants a fairytale, I’ll happily be his Prince Charming.
* Heel is the second book in the Working Out the Kinks series but can be read as a stand-alone. This book contains a scene of domestic violence. This book also contains an adorable man who loves to be a puppy, fabulous high heels, and the happily ever after Adrian deserves.
Blink – Viva Gold
BLINK is about a young optometrist, Arran Adatto, who’s patient Ezra Stern requires a little more than the usual care and attention.
Ezra may seem the Daddy type but hates labels…and Arran is way, way more than he appears to be!
Ezra is hard on the outside but harbours a deep loneliness and longs for love.
Arran lives a life full of lies due to his traditionally religious family.
Can he find the strength to be his true self for Ezra?
And who the hell is Iris Green?
This is a love story about two very different men. Ezra is a successful businessman living his life out and proud. Approaching the grand old age of 40, he begins to look at his life and realises he’s terribly lonely, and that his regular one night stands are not fulfilling him enough anymore. When he finds Arran, he thinks the young man is everything he never knew he wanted or needed. Yet Arran has a lot of baggage, not least of all is that he is in the closet about his homosexuality.
This book is at times loving and romantic while shockingly thrilling. There is angst for and from both characters, proving that sometimes, love just isn’t always enough and that there are consequences to everything we do…
Oh yeah – and just who is Iris Green, already?
King Slayer – Layla Reyne
Never fall for a mark. Mission fail.
Christopher Perri—a.k.a. Dante Perry—infiltrated the Madigan organization with one goal: vengeance for his murdered partner. Falling for the assassin at the head of the table wasn’t part of the plan, but Hawes Madigan is not the cold, untouchable Prince of Killers Chris expected. Everything about the newly crowned king is hot, and every inch of him eminently touchable… and off-limits once Chris’s cover is blown.
Exposure couldn’t come at a worse time. Hawes’s throne is threatened, and Chris suspects the same person who killed his partner is behind the coup. Working with Hawes benefits them both, but Chris’s employer has other ideas. Dismantling criminal organizations is what Chris does best, and his boss expects the King Slayer to deliver.
But Hawes is taking the Madigans in a new direction, one Chris can get behind, and the two men form a shaky alliance strengthened by the irresistible attraction between them… until Chris learns who killed his partner. Once he knows the truth, the King Slayer is unleashed, and Chris will stop at nothing to destroy those who betrayed him, including the king who stole his heart.
Twists and turns—and cliffhangers—continue in book two of the Fog City Trilogy. Read at your own risk!
Wolf Betrayed – CJ Vosse
War drove them apart.
Can love bring them together?
Pierce wants nothing more than to reunite with the family he left at sixteen. When he is finally given the means, he must choose between Cade and his dream.
Cade left Great Wolf Valley and found a new home in New Kings City. He broke his vow against killing to fight in the Night War, and when he meets Pierce, he must betray his mate to save his new home.
How can their love grow when the price of loyalty is everything?
If you like hot shifters fighting for love against humans out to destroy all parahumans, werewolves intent on obtaining a demonic ruby, and a three-hundred-year-old vampire with secret goals, check out Wolf Betrayed, the second book in the paranormal romance Shifters of the Great Wolf series. This sexy, action-packed romance contains steamy scenes with a guaranteed happily ever after, no cheating and no cliffhanger.
Buy Wolf Betrayed to continue exploring this enchanted world with Pierce and Cade today!
Wolf Betrayed is the second book in the series. Each book is self-contained with a unique couple. For maximum reading enjoyment, we recommend you read them in order since each book builds upon the last with main characters from previous books showing up in later books.
Release – AE Ryecart
Recommendation: I love romances featuring rent boys, so this one immediately goes on my TBR list.
When life holds them captive, can love be their release?
Selling his body since he was a fifteen-year-old runaway, rent boy Sean Farrell has learned the hard lesson that the only way to survive the streets is to act tough and cocky. But an act is all it is, as underneath he’s never felt more adrift as he struggles with crippling self-doubt. Sean’s distilled life into three simple rules: earn enough cash to get by, stick close to the friends who have become his family — and don’t let anyone steal his heart.
Art is Laurie Cassell’s profession and passion. His calm and ordered life is just how he thinks he wants it, but it’s becoming harder to ignore the creeping feeling that calm and ordered has become dull and predictable. Laurie craves more but doesn’t know what, or not until a man with dark hazel eyes and a bad attitude swaggers into his life — and leaves with his heart.
Two men who should never have met, let alone fallen in love. Can Sean and Laurie release the other from lives that are holding them captive?
* Release is a slow burn, opposites attract MM romance. Found family, good friends who give advice our men don’t want to hear, and the redemptive power of love can all be found between the pages. No cliff hanger, and a guaranteed HEA. *
99c DEALS
My Mate Jack – Garrett Leigh
Recommendation: I really love this author’s writing style, so this was a one-click for me.
Will Barter’s been in love with his best mate Jack for as long as he can remember. They’ve shared everything: love, life, laughs, even Will’s first kiss. But Jack’s straight, and Will’s long-buried infatuation means nothing until their last summer together draws to a close.
Then one night, everything changes, but with Will bound for university in Leeds, and Jack for his dream DJ job in Ibiza, there’s no time to explore their blurred lines. Before long all that’s left are secrets, lies, and misunderstandings.
In the months that follow, anger and hurt overshadow fifteen years of friendship, and Will must dig deep to remember Jack is his mate… his best mate, and nothing matters more than that, right? Find out in My Mate Jack.
Maple Springs Complete Series – Spencer Spears
Recommendation: Over 1,000 pages for 99 cents? That’s a no brainer for me, haha.
Love in the North Woods
Finally, the complete Maple Springs series! Fall in love with these men of the northwoods as their romances blossom under the starry skies and pine forests of Minnesota. The series follows a group of friends in the lake-side small town of Maple Springs as they uncover secrets, reconnect with old flames, and find love in the most unexpected of places…
Billion Dollar Bet
Kian: He’s a self-made billionaire. He wants to destroy my town. And he’s straight up told me he’s bad at relationships. There’s no reason for this to work, and every reason for it not to. So why can’t I stop falling for him?
Beneath Orion
Colin: I don’t date. Period. And I definitely don’t date single dads. Or straight guys. Or men who give me butterflies and make me feel things. I’m supposed to be protecting my heart. But it’s so hard to remember that when I’m in his arms.
Sugar Season
Graham: What do you do when your random hook-up turns out to be your dead husband’s estranged brother? You feel guilty as sin. You swear it’ll never happen again. And you definitely don’t wake up with him in your bed… over and over again.
Strawberry Moon
Josh: How the hell do you survive a summer stuck in a tiny cabin with a guy who hates your guts? A guy who just happens to be your deliciously hot, but total mistake of a one-night-stand from a week ago. And more importantly–how do you keep yourself from repeating that delicious mistake all summer long?
One Call Away – Felice Stevens
When a brutal attack from a jealous competitor leaves Noah Strauss, darling of the modeling world, physically scarred and emotionally damaged, he quits the runway to become a psychologist. Using his contacts from his time in the spotlight, he creates One Call Away, a radio show dedicated to gay men looking for love, advice or someone to talk to. But with secrets of his own and a mother who refuses to understand the career path he’s chosen, the one person Noah can’t seem to help is himself.
On a drunken dare from the senior partner’s grandson, Oren Leavitt calls Noah’s radio show, pretending to be gay. Only Oren isn’t certain if he’s pretending. He’s left his strict Orthodox Jewish upbringing behind, but the guilt remains. Guilt that his actions have prevented his sister from finding a husband and guilt that he’s failed his parents. Talking to “Dr. Noah” helps, and as he finds himself calling the man again and again, he knows he must be honest. But Oren is unsure if he’s lying to Noah or himself.
For Noah, trust is paramount; he’s been deceived in his personal and professional life and while he desperately wants to help Oren, he also finds himself falling for the sweet and tortured man. Oren is trapped: he risks losing his job and more importantly the love and security of his family but knows he can’t hide if he wants to be with Noah. When unresolved heartaches from the past rise up to control the present, Noah and Oren discover that love often comes from the most unexpected places, and sometimes a call for help not only saves a life, it can be a new and beautiful beginning.
Sirius Wolves Complete Series – Victoria Sue
Recommendation: This is the entire series (7 books) for just $6.99, meaning less than 99c per book. I’d grab this deal fast!
(This blurb is for the first book in the Sirius Wolves series)
According to legend, when humankind is at its most desperate, the goddess Sirius will send three of the most powerful werewolf shifters ever created to save mankind. However, because they are so powerful, they will need a fourth to complete them, to calm them and help them reach their full potential.

Caught, reviled, and tortured because of his empathic abilities, he knew on the night he was told to run as sport for the pack hunters that it would end in his death. What he didn’t know, however, was that on the same night he’d also meet the love of his life and a pathway to answers, because Aden is far more than just a pack omega.

Silver Fox – Tatum West
Nikki:
I left for Cali the night of my graduation with nothing but a pink boa, a pair of strappy gold heels, and my silver eyeshadow from Sally Beauty Supply. I sang for pennies on Hollywood Boulevard in my broke and desperate days. Now at twenty-six, I’ve got more Grammys than Madonna and a growing empire.
Fame was everything I expected and nothing that I ever wanted. At the end of the day I’m on my own, with an overbearing manager and security team as my only friends. I made this life, and now I live in it alone.
When a stalker starts following me, and the paparazzi ambush me outside of a nightclub, I’m at my breaking point. That’s when Fox Lee appears—out of nowhere—tall and gorgeous with salt-and-pepper hair and a wicked smile that shakes me to my core.
He takes my hand and sweeps me away from the flashing lights and screaming fans. He even keeps me safe when the stalker shows up at my house the next day.
I’d wrap myself up in Fox Lee and never come up for air.
But he doesn’t want me. He just wants to be my lawyer.
Fox:
Nikki Rippon is the most fascinating man I’ve met in years, and I count Robert De Niro as a close friend. I’d like to save Nikki—and savor his cherry pink lips. But I need to keep things cool and professional, even if he’s the smartest, funniest, and sexiest man in my contacts list. He’s at least a decade too young for me, and he needs legal representation against the hellions taking advantage of him—not a boyfriend.
When he invites me up to his place, I almost cave. Every minute I spend with him, I fall deeper and deeper. He can make a Lakers jersey look like couture or rock a Prada polo with Jimmy Choo heels. He’s infinitely loyal, utterly hilarious, and more talented than any other musician who’s walked through my doors.
Ever since my parents kicked me out at seventeen for being a little too queer, I haven’t let anyone in. I don’t do relationships, especially not with glam pop stars with a closet full of Gucci. But Nikki’s wearing me down, bit by bit. He’s staying at my place, taking us on dates I never expected. And we even manage to escape to my beach home on the East Coast without a single fan noticing—almost.
Just when things seem perfect, the ghosts of Nikki’s past start to close in on us, threatening the life we’re creating together. It turns out that when you’re spending your nights with the world’s biggest pop star, people can get a little …jealous.
I’d convinced myself Nikki needed a knight in shining armor. But when I find myself trapped in the trunk of a moving car, my hands tied and my mouth gagged, it all becomes crystal clear: Nikki is the savior I always needed. And the only man I’ve ever loved.
Silver Fox is the fourth book in the Bridge to Abingdon series. Each book focuses on one amazing couple, and each can be read as a total standalone. Fox and Nikki have more steam than any other couple in the series! There’s also a bodyguard bestie, a closet full of Prada, and an unforgettable night under the stars. Add a swirl of mystery, a secret boat trip down the coast, and a twist you won’t see coming… and you’ve got Silver Fox. Nikki Rippon and Fox Lee are the soul of Abingdon, and they start off the story of Abingdon with a BANG.
Among Heroes – Tanya Chris
This disaster of a romcom will have you rooting for the two bad boy wannabes whose solid gold hearts yearn for each other while their rock solid bodies grapple with a different kind of yearning.
If you’re going to fly into the path of an oncoming hurricane, there’s only one man you want as Captain: ex-Air Force pilot, Rook Terzi. But why would you do ever do such a thing in the first place? This definitely isn’t the smartest decision Rook has ever made, as evidenced by an abrupt landing on the wrong side of Coxa de Peru, but being marooned isn’t all bad. In fact, it would be almost paradise if it weren’t for one particular passenger: YouTube personality and alpha-wannabe, Bryce Norris.
Bryce figures he’s the best choice to take charge of this group of survivors. He’s a paid adventurer, after all. Sure, his production manager usually handles the details, but Bryce does his own stunts, and he’s ready to sacrifice his body in any way necessary. Too bad no one’s asking him to play hero, because he’s well-equipped for the job.
When a crew member’s declining health means they can’t wait for rescue any longer, Bryce and Rook need to stop fighting for dominance and start cooperating on a jungle trek towards civilization. Can their rivalry turn to passion beneath a tropical moon? Find out in Among Heroes.
Content warning: the author knows nothing about flying a plane except what you learn by sitting in one and has made up her own model of aircraft. If you have any aviation expertise, you’ll probably find this book supremely annoying. Otherwise, suspend your disbelief, buckle in, and let’s take off on what’s sure to be a wild ride.
Slow Dance – Julia McBryant
Crispin has moved in with Wills for the summer, four hours away from their parents in Savannah. Without rules, or even Wills’ nosy twin to police them, neither can wait for their three months of freedom. But Wills gets stuck memorizing tree biology, and Crispin’s boss works him to exhaustion. In fact, everything about their lives seems incompatible. Crispin keeps a bizarre sleep schedule that messes up Wills’ circadian rhythms. Wills wakes up as queen bitch while Crispin channels Tigger. Stuck scarfing frozen food, unable to work the washing machine, Wills and Crispin both feel miserable. They’ve been together since eleventh grade. But can their teenage love transition into the real world? Find out in Slow Dance.
Unnatural – Joanna Chambers
Captain Iain Sinclair has looks, charm, military honours—even the favour of the king himself. He has everything—everything, that is, except the friendship of the one man whose good opinion he has ever cared for, scientist, James Hart.
James has loved Iain all his life, but after the last disastrous encounter between them, he vowed to accept no more crumbs from Iain’s table. If Iain cannot be the lover James wants, then James will have no more to do with him.
Disenchanted with his career, and miserable without James in his life, Iain decides to leave military service and embark upon a new career in India. Before he leaves England behind, though, he is determined to try one last time to reconcile with his dearest friend.
An invitation to a country house party from James’s sister provides the perfect opportunity to pin James down and force him to finally listen to Iain’s apology. But when Iain discovers that an apology is not enough—that James is not willing settle for less than a lover—he is forced to reconsider everything: his life, his future career, and most of all, his feelings for James in Unnatural.
This is a new edition of a book previously published by Samhain Publishing

You’re welcome! I love sharing these deals…
I find new books every week! Yay!!
Thanks for sharing all these interesting books! We moved house recently and I’m supposed to be unpacking my bedroom, but all I want to do is lie around and read. I’m going to have to start listening to audio books to get anything done, and Rebel would be a good one to start with. I’m glad you had a good time in Scotland and that the weather cooperated. The photo is beautiful.
Thank you! I’m confident you’ll love Rebel. Kenneth did such a great job voicing our men… Good luck with unpacking!
I was so looking forward to reading Slow Dance. Imagine how surprised I was when it wasn’t a “FREEBIE” but was priced at $1.99. Oopsie!
Ugh, I’m sorry you missed out on that one. I always check prices before I post, but they can change throughout the day. Unless a book is a Kindle Countdown deal, I can’t see when the sale will end, and authors can change the price at any time. That’s why I always warn to double check the price before buying.
Try again because I just got it for free
I just tried again and it is still listed for $1.99. Did you get it from Amazon US or a different one? I’m beginning to take it personally.
It shows up for me at $1.99 as well on Amazon US…
Just want to add my thank you as well. I’m always able to make my TBR mountain bigger each week.
Glad you had a great trip. Congrats on the new release.
Thank you! So happy you’re finding great reads this way.
