The downside of traveling to Europe was that it gobbled up a lot of precious time. The upside is that I had plenty of time to read. Let me share a few random mini reviews of some great books I read last week!

Risk Aware – Amelia C. Gormley

Risk Aware is not for the faint of heart, at least when it comes to BDSM. This book contains some heavy scenes, but oh my, it’s so freaking good. A man who suffers from hemophilia dreams of the one thing that could literally kill him: pain. Then he meets a man who wants to give it all to him. I loved this book so hard.

Santa Daddy – Keira Andrews

Santa Daddy was a fun, sweet read with a little daddy kink and a May-December trope as an added bonus. While playing an elf in a mall, Hunter meets a hot Santa named Nick. Too bad he’s a bit grumpy. But when they meet again, sparks fly, and Nick turns out to be not so grumpy after all, but the perfect daddy for clumsy Hunter.

Collars and Cuffs series – KC Wells and Parker Williams

I read my way through the entire Collars & Cuffs series as well. Volume I contains the first four books and Volume 2 the last four. They’re a continuing story about a BDSM club and the owners and visitors, with many recurring characters. There’s some heartbreaking shit in there, relatively mild kink considering the setting, and all happy endings with lots of feels. Not all books are equally gripping, but there’s some gems in there and the whole thing kept me captivated.
